The Story Behind North Shore College Consulting

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Our story unfolded in 2004 when Amy’s and Debbie’s sons were in the same kindergarten class. Starting as a serendipitous meeting rooted in motherhood, evolved into a lasting friendship and meaningful work.

Before becoming North Shore College Consulting in 2011, Amy was a Tax Attorney and Debbie was a Human Resources Specialist. Looking for a change, they found inspiration in the UCLA College Counseling Program, which laid the foundation for a company committed to making an impact in students’ lives.

The duo, initially navigating the Chicagoland area to meet with students, found themselves growing rapidly and needing a dedicated office space and additional support. Luckily, in 2017, they welcomed Melanie who seamlessly became an integral part of the team and later became a co-owner. Then, in response to their growing demographic around the country, they adapted to the digital landscape.

Today, North Shore College Consulting is stronger than ever, embracing the power of online connectivity to build a community that spans the nation.
