Francie is a lawyer turned writer. She has been working as a freelance writer since 1998. Currently, she is a regular contributing writer for Brain, Child Magazine. Her personal essays have also appeared in publications including The Chicago Tribune, Today Parenting, Motherwell Magazine, The Examined Life Literary Journal, Literary Mama, Kveller and Club Mid. Francie loves to use her years of writing experience to help students understand the college essay and to develop and shape pieces that are well-written and reflective of who the student is and what the student has to say. Francie is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the George Washington University Law School.
